There are many local tours, in and around Playa del Carmen, that fit almost everyone's taste. From the ever popular "booze cruises" to our newest "Off the Beaten Path" tours, there are many to choose from. We do not offer every tour that is offered in the area, and this is due to the fact that we wouldn't go on every tour offered! All of the tours that we offer are tours that we would want to go on ourselves (and have gone on ourselves!). We tend to shy away from the larger tour companies that take bus loads of folks to various destinations. Not to say that these are bad tours, but the "big crowd" tours just aren't our thing. Below are a list of the tours that we offer as well as their duration,cost, and group size:

ATV Explorer Tour: 2 hour tour offered at 9:00, 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00 daily. Cost per person is $53.10 USD per single rider and $45.00 USD per double rider (this tour is one our discounted tours where you receive a 10% discount when booking through Playa Maya News). Group size: 20 ATV's per tour with 1 or 2 people per ATV.

Cata Maya Catamaran Tour: 4 hour tour offered from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM daily. During high season (November through April) they also offer an afternoon/evening tour from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Cost per person is $80.10 USD (this tour is one our discounted tours where you receive a 10% discount when booking through Playa Maya News). Group size 1-100 people(rarely at capacity)

F1 Offshore Explorer tour: 4 hour tour offered from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM daily. Cost per person $136.00 USD for people 12 years and older, and $68.00 USD per person 7-12 years old. If you book this tour 14 days, or more, in advance, you will receive a 10% discount.Group size: 2 boats with 1-12 people per boat

Fat Cat Catamaran Tour: 4 hour tour offered from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM daily. During high season (November through April) they also offer an afternoon/evening tour from 2:30 PM until 6:30 PM. Cost per person is $80.10 USD (this tour is one our discounted tours where you receive a 10% discount when booking through Playa Maya News). Group size: 1-45 people

Fishing with Edy in Playa del Carmen: Edy offers either a 4 1/2 hour trip for $180.00 USD, or an 8 hour trip for $300.00 USD.COST IS FOR THE BOAT NOT PER PERSON.. Group size 1-4 adults plus 2 children.

Golfing at Playacar Golf Club or Moon Palace:Time varies for each player. Cost per 18 holes at the Playacar Golf Club is $190.00 USD per person, and the cost per 18 holes at the Moon Palace Golf Club is $260.00 USD per person. Group size varies.

Floating Jungle Tour: Full day from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Cost per person is $135.00 USD.
Group size: 1-8 people

Crocodile Safari Tour: Full day from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Cost per person is $165.00 USD. Group size: 1-8 people. Season varies.

Mayan Cave Adventure Tour: Half day from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Cost per person is $85.00 USD. Group size: 1-8 people.

Whale Shark Tour: Full day from 4:00 AM until 6:00 PM or the Express Tour from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Cost per person is $225.00 USD per person for the Classic Tour, $195.00 USD per person for the Express Tour. Group size: 1-8 people

Photography Safari: Full day from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Cost per person is $185.00 USD. Group size: 1-8 people.

Bird Watching Tour: Full day from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Cost per person is $165.00 USD per person for the Coastal Explorer Tour, and $135.00 USD per person for the Jungle Explorer Tour. Group size:1- 8 people.

Mayan Ruin Tours:
