We often receive mails asking us what the "best" restaurant is in, or around, Playa del Carmen. This is a touchy one as everyone's opinion is different. One person may love one restaurant, and hate another, and vice versa. We always suggest to people to look at our Restaurant Guide and see what the area has to offer, and we also encourage people to leave reviews in the guide to help other people narrow their search!

Personally one of my favorite local restaurants is Babes Noodles and Bar (Babe's 1 located on 10th Street between 5th and 10th Avenues is the better one of the 2 IMHO). They offer fresh Thai infused dishes at reasonable prices, and the have kick ass margaritas too ( oh, and don't forget their famous Swedish Meatballs!!) But again, everyone might not like it.....so go try for yourself and tell us about your experiences.
