ATV Explorer Jungle Tours Playa del Carmen | ![]() |
Your first stop is at an incredible private cenote only available to those that go on the ATV Explorer Tour. Swim through the refreshing crystal clear waters - there are also snorkeling masks available so you check out the amazing underwater cave system and stalactites. Next stop is at a small Mayan ruin site where you can still see various relics of the Mayan age. This area of the jungle was once home to the ancient Maya people and some of their structures remain partially hidden and overgrown by jungle. The last stop will be a visit to a truly amazing Indiana Jones style dry cave. These caves were formed millions of years ago and are actually dry cenotes. They are crammed with the most fantastic stalagmites and stalactites. As you walk through the cave you will see hundreds of sleeping bats hanging from the ceiling, so don’t forget your pocket camera. One more quick ride and you will head back to reception to park your ATV, grab a cool drink, and have the opportunity to buy a photo or t-shirt.
