New English Speaking Church opens its doors in Playa del Carmen.

Ever feel like you need more sense of community? Feel like you need to connect more at a deeper level? Check this out. Fellowship Church in Playa del Carmen will have its inaugural service on March 29th, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Very convenient for both locals and tourists alike; we can be found at Plaza Pelicanos on Avenida 10 and Calle 10, upstairs in the old movie theater. Services are every Sunday after that, same place, same time. Parking is available in the Plaza Pelicanos lot or on the streets surrounding the Plaza
Pastor Terry Hill and his wife Debbie recently moved to Playa, after 23 years in Anchorage Alaska at the Rabbit Creek Church. Whew ! Finally they made the long trek here. They are thawing out and are ready to go.
The teaching will be biblical, usable, applicable, and best of all, encouraging. Pastor Terry will teach to meet the needs that we all experience, and he aims to make this an enjoyable experience, believing that church should not be a bitter pill to swallow.
Consider for example the upbeat, lively music with 2 local talented folks on keyboard, and lively songs. So no sleeping through these services !
I have had the pleasure of working with Terry and Debbie, along with a few other people, in helping them to launch this new church. I can truthfully say that all Terry and Debbie do or say, is exactly as he describes - encouraging and uplifting -as it should be.
Come as you are, expect a great time, and breakfast will even be served. You are welcome here ....
